Thanksgiving 2012 — Conquered!!

on November 24, 2012

Hi Friends!! How was your Turkey Day??? I hope that you all had lots of time with family and friends and ate TONS of delicious food without feeling guilty!!! I know that I did (and didn’t even workout on Thursday… I was WAY too busy cooking!!) I am happy to report that I think our first hosted Thanksgiving was a smashing success … even if we did eat 45 minutes later then expected!

So, here is our little menu (Sorry, I know, there’s been like a million “Thanksgiving recipe posts!!)

So, um…. we cooked and baked for a VERY long time. But you know what — it was a lot of fun… and I didn’t really get stressed out once… well maybe at the very end when everything was starting to run very late — the whole day turned out to be a great memory ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m even looking forward to doing it again! Although I will admit that I didn’t eat much on Friday while I was home, and even thought of heating something up was too much!!

Happy & tired hosts ๐Ÿ™‚

How was your black friday? Score any good deals?? I stayed safe and warm in my living room…and ordered 1 present before I got tired of it ๐Ÿ™‚ I also took Fiona for a long walk, ran for 40 minutes, and took Fiona to visit P at work- she managed to escape the yard yesterday, so that was fun! Luckily she didn’t go very far… she decided to hang out with our neighbor who was mowing her lawn!! Strange puppy!!

I hope you all are having a good saturday — I am currently trying to convince P that the Christmas lights NEED to go up today!! I’m jealous of everyone who has their house all decorated!!!

Happy Weekend ๐Ÿ™‚
